At Eder, Casella & Co., we take pride in our internship program. As an all-service accounting firm, we strive for a well-rounded internship program. Our internship program has several key components that provides our interns with a foundation that will be key to their success in the future:
Experience in all aspects of our firm-- we are a full-service accounting firm and we want our interns to see all areas of the firm. Interns will get experience in our audit, tax, and accounting services, as well as experience in a variety of the industries that we service. We strive to provide our interns with a vast scope of experience.
Real Responsibility and Impact-- we believe that on-the-job training is an invaluable experience for our interns. Our interns work side-by-side with our experienced staff who provide guidance and direction every step of the way. Beside learning the fundamentals of accounting and auditing, this real-world experience serves our interns well in their careers.
Job Shadowing with a Partner-- each of our interns spend at least half a day with each of the Partners to observe even the highest levels of the firm.
Mentoring Program-- each of our interns are partnered with a mentor for their time at Eder, Casella & Co. These mentors, all with several years of experience with the firm, help guide them through their internship. The mentors are there to provide continual feedback as their internship progresses, and to act as a sounding board for our interns.
Social Events-- our internship program is not just work. In conjunction with our mentor program, we host many intern social events which allows our interns to build personal connections with colleagues.
We have both Spring and Summer internships available. Our Spring internship is more focused around our ever-growing tax practice, while our Summer internship program is more centered around our auditing practice. If you are interested in our internship program, please submit your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are currently accepting applications for our Spring 2018/2019 and Summer 2019 programs.
